When I was 6 years old I went on my first photo trip with my father. At that time I photographed landscapes with a compact camera. My first serious wildlife photo trip took place the following year – we searched for rutting red deer in the Carpathian mountains. Since then I have accompanied my dad in his photo trips as often as it was possible for me. Every year we go to the Milicz Fishpond Reserve in the West of Poland - the area which is very rich in waterfowl. We always build new hides there which is nearly as exciting as the photography itself. I also use our permanent hides which we have at the feeding stations in the Bialowieza Forest – a wonderful place where I live.
